I have seen this paper from the tweeter of Satchin Panda, so it seems legit: healthy middle aged males go down 6.5 years in biological age by taking "a cocktail of growth hormone, metformin, and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) ".
Any opinions on this? Is it feasible & safe to take these drugs? Is it easy & cheap to find these three drugs in the market?
I’ve seen this before simply google HGH and DHEA supplementation to lose weight, lots of charts and graphs etc…
Problem with this method is, you shut down your own production of these endocrine hormones by supplementing and supplementing would work but then what happens if you stop taking them? (you would be in deep metabolic trouble because you would be dependent on an outside source much like exogenous insulin dependent diabetes?)
Going through the extra lengths to get your own production of these natural hormones working again is by far a better reflection of your own natural health?
Taking the smallest dose possible (very important or it will not work) of Metformin will mimic fasting (open up and close mTor pathways) much like extensive fasting would; another way to achieve this without fasting extensively is crushing the head of broccoli or broccoli sprouts letting them sit for 15 minutes and/or lightly heating them (sprouts) to 60° or so and letting them cool down to enhance the sulforaphane 3.5 fold (isothiocyanates) and will do the same as a person fasting extensively!
