Ate a gummy that was sweetened with stevia but saw to my horror that it was gelled with pectin. I had 1 and a half yesterday.
How many grams of carbs would you say are in this?

Negligible net, at least but it should be tiny either way. Pectin is mostly fiber and the gummy contains other things. A sugary one would have a significant amount of carbs but if it’s sweetened only with stevia, I can’t imagine the number would be significant, really. But I am not familiar with gummies. If I made a homemade one, it would have almost no calories… And the whole gummy is a few grams. It can’t contain very much carbs even if it would be half sugar but with stevia, the carb content should be way lower… I spend more carbs for a spicy dish for sure.

The main issue with sweet things: do you want to eat more after eating one of those? If not, it’s not a big deal. If so, maybe reconsider eating them.
