Sometimes I go longer, depends what my body is telling me.
Only time I don’t follow 16:8 is if I have PMS.

I have been fasting for 3-4 days then refeeding for 1-2 before beginning my next fast. Trying to heal insulin resistance and praying this won’t be necessary forever…sometimes fasting is easier, sometimes it’s really rough for me.

I typically fast about 1/3 of the time. I just don’t do it on a weekly schedule - mostly do 3 day fasts on a recurring basis as it fits my life…

Yes 100% Keto on refeeding days, carbs under 20 total these days.
Thank you, I did recently discover some of her videos on YouTube and watched quite a few It seems like the first couple of fasting days have become a little more difficult, I may try to do a few shorter ones soon.
The number of days is so varied for each person… just try and mix it up. don’t set a schedule…roll with it.
Weekends seem to work best for longer fasts because I can stay busy for longer periods.
During the week is best for me. There’s only water available there. And the fridge has M&Ms! And hard candy! thank goodness I dont have a sweet tooth! Never been into chocolate!
Yep! I work at a Counseling office. And they always have candy around for the sa groups. Thank goodness I’ve never been a candy hound. Would be an awful challenge if I where.
I’m fairly new to the Keto diet but decided to fast for 23.5hrs a day several weeks ago. It was hard for about 4/5 days but the hunger pangs disappeared and the amount i can now consume in the 1 meal a day I have is reduced. seeing good results now.

Thanks for the Welcome, I’m following a High Fat, Med Protein, Low carb plan as best i can. I think the High fat portion helps reduce the hunger pangs. as you say its not for every one. My research had found that if you can fast for 20 hrs a day they you should see results. so Have a meal at 1pm then another at 5pm or another 4 hour window. Drink plenty of water all other times.

I do 20 hour intermittent fasting almost daily (4 hour eating window: coffee + one large meal). Some weekends I extend the eating window depending on social plans, and it becomes coffee + two meals.
