Thanks for asking. I’m way ahead of where I was a year ago. In Jan of last year I was prediabetic with a torn right quad. In 9 months I lost about 75lbs and healed my right quad. We had horrendous fires in our town in Oct’17 which added stress followed by Thanksgiving/Xmas family things. So in the last 2-3 months I’ve made little progress. I’m still about 25lbs from my desired weight. I’m metabolically much healthier and will focus on tactics to improve my weight loss. If it takes a while I’m okay with that. At my current weight I’m much healthier than many my age and I’m not completely dissatisfied when standing in front of a mirror.
How is everyone?
@Tamara GREAT JOB! Isn’t it nice to not feel terrible physically and emotionally all of the time?!?! Keep up the great work and don’t be a stranger!
@Mglasbrener Congrats on the loss in weight! It is easier to do on keto but still isn’t “easy” to do (if that makes sense). Scary situation with the fires! I would have been terrified lol. I notice this lifestyle really eliminates ALOT of the normal everyday stress that I used to have and allows me to better handle the big stressers that tend to come up. Thank you for giving an insight as to how you are doing. I love hearing other peoples stories… it helps keep me on track.
How is it going @Nick224? I’m on day 15 of my fast, still feeling great had a great kettlebell workout yesterday. Gained 2 pounds between days 12-14. The human body is fascinating and the scale is a joke. A similar thing happened around the same time during the last fast I did this long.
15 days huh? Thats amazing! I am starting a new fast today. The last time i made it just shy of 3 days. I am shooting for 4 days this time (would love more) just really trying to listen to my body and not my fatness lol
Hey nick! I was wondering if you or anyone who comments on this post might be interested in joining my 3 day water fast?
