More fat. I really don’t worry about protein levels because when I’ve tracked (I do only occasionally), I’m always within my ‘acceptable’ range of 60g-100g. I don’t overeat, so that may be why I don’t have an issue with protein.
From what I’ve learned, most zero carbers don’t worry about protein levels. They just eat fatty cuts of meat and drink water! Most people eat an incredible amount when making this transition, especially those that jump straight from a SAD diet. Once the body adapts, the amount of intake decreases to a more normal level. It’s still going to be protein heavy by comparison to keto. But there is more room for the extra protein due to an almost complete lack of carbs. Most zero carbers do experience ketosis, but not at the level traditional ketonians try to achieve. When you sit down to a meal of 1-2 lbs of meat, you will be knocked out of ketosis for a while. But if you are fat adapted, this shouldn’t be a problem!
