Hi everyone,

I’m new to the forum and new to the 2 keto dudes podcast, I have listened to all episodes in the past 2 to 3 weeks, the information on there is incredible, thank you Carl and Richard for doing what you do.

I’ve known about the ketogenic diet for many years but I was always told around gyms and fitness forums that it burned just as much muscle as it did fat and was no good for long term use, how wrong were they.

Im currently down around 14kg using both keto and intermittent fasting. I started with 5:2 style intermittent fasting last year and had some success but really struggled to control appetite, started keto in January then fell off mid February but been back on for about a month now and feeling great.

Looking forward to learning more about the science of how the body works and LCHF eating, and trying some of the amazing looking recipes on the forum, especially Brenda Zorns pork rind pancakes
