Hello, It’s Day 3, 6am and I’m up Googling Keto Night Sweats. I’ve been on keto before about eight years ago but didn’t remember having night sweats. I’m 49 and in menopause. I’m not into natural supplements but after having terrible night sweats I began taking black cohosh before bed and went from having sheet drenching sweating to feeling just fine again.
Everything was going well on the sweat front until I began the keto. Now back to a/c at 64 in the winter, ceiling fan, floor fan, 1 sheet, and no clothing. Hopefully it will pass soon because my husband is freezing to death. Lol So glad I found this forum.
I’m using an app called a keto app which is fantastic and simple to use. I’m eating 30g of carbs/day. A normal pre-keto day consisted of approximately 250 to 350 g of carbs/sugar. I have literally lived off sugar and carbs most of my life so I figure 30g should keep me in Keto and so far so good. I’m 5ft tall with a starting weight of 155lbs (the heaviest I’ve ever been) and I have Multiple Sclerosis. Weightloss goal is to be back at 125lbs and hopefully correct my very bad Cholesterol. 30lbs has to go.
Thank you for having me
Hi New Here from Memphis, TN w/keto night sweats
Hi! I’m originally from Bartlett but live in AR now. I suspect your night sweats are your hormones adjusting. I didn’t have night sweats but my periods went crazy wonky for a while. The good news is they settled out and are now back to my normal.
Thank you for the response. It’s a small world! I lived in Bartlett growing up. I’ll send you a private message
I second that, your hormones are going crazy during your transition. I am having hot flashes right now while I type lol. I’m only four days on a carnivore diet and practically at zero carbs and girl I’m dying here ! Oh and my monthly cycle well I started carnivore during it and well this is the longest cycle I’ve had so yea hormonal changes happening from Keto for sure ! Don’t give up ! I hear it gets better!
