I just wanted to introduce myself. My friend started keto last week. I want to try it for energy and inflammatory/pain issues. Weight loss will be the side effect for me as I’m not concentrating on that right now! I don’t eat red meat, only fish, eggs, sometimes a bit of chicken, so I think I’ll be good to go. I’m easing into it this week, I will cut out all obvious things then jump in with the rest. Fruit will be the hard part for me, but I love berries so it should be okay. Thanks

Thanks Jim! I’m nervous as I eat a lot of carbs-bread, muffins etc. I’m going to start Monday as I have a planned event (high tea-scones and sandwiches!) on Sunday that is a gift and I don’t want to be rude. So Monday it is! I look forward to seeing how I feel in keto! 
I used to do the same. You’ll be amazed…after being keto for a while you will not miss bread. At this point for me the thought of eating a muffin is kind of gross. All the best as you get started!
Agree. I used to LOVE pasta and bread, it doesn’t appeal to me now, nor do sugary things. Plus, feeling great is better than any food.
