Hi all. New to keto. All advice welcome

I’ve been fasting for about 8 years (first meal 1pm last meal 7pm) most recently trying to follow the warrior diet plan. Had a massive sugar addition all my life and inevitably ended up making bad food choices meaning LOTS of sugar.

Made an attempt to go all in with keto mixed with cardio and resistance training. Was not pleasant at first but two weeks later I can feel some endurance creeping in that I did not have before although bursts of energy don’t come easily.
There’s a define acetone smell from my pee and the test strips are reading dark purple.
Been tracking macros on my fitness pal keeping under 20g of carbs and no more than 90g of protein, the rest in fat to make up 2000cals (slight deficit for me)

I’ve been breaking my water fast with a scoop of perfect keto greens then eating a variety of avocado fatty meats coconut oil pecans, low carb greens, salmon, and MCT oil and lots of other good stuff. Also been supplementing with electrolytes due to the large amounts of water I’ve been getting through.

I’m loosing weight fast but concerned about loosing muscle mass (although this dosnt seemed to have happened yet)

I think I’m going in the right direction and don’t have any sugar cravings anymore
Any advice or tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds to me like you are doing everything right so far. With it only being 2 weeks keto for you, you are probably not yet fat adapted so I would not make any changes yet. Once you are fat adapted, which typically takes 4-6 weeks or more (everyone is different) you can try eating a bit more protein. Just bump it up a little each week. You may also want to check out Keto Savage. A lot of good info there regarding keto and lifting. http://ketosavage.com

Initial weight loss is water weight.

You didn’t mention your weight. If you’re obese, it’s very likely you’ll lose some muscle mass as your body won’t need as much to support your lower weight.
