I’ve been lurking on the forum for a few days and have found it a great source of information and comfort.
My wife and I are on our 10th week of keto and it’s been going great. I’ve lost 1 and a 1/2 stone and feel mentally sharp. Also my anxiety has really dropped off.
I started listening to the 2 Keto Dudes podcast from the 2nd week of keto and I’m working my way through them from the beginning. They helped so much with getting started and knowing what to expect.
My wife had the over 40 health check last week and her LDL came back at 6.6 mmol. Our Doctor gave us the “the bad cholesterol and its furring your arteries” talk. Scary stuff. After reading a lot of posts on this forum and watching some of Dave Feldmans videos referenced here we can both relax a little.
We considered stopping keto, even after feeling so much better with the life style. Having found so much info on here and learning about ‘Hyperresponders’ we think we can Keep Calm and Keto On
