Hello all πŸ™‚

Hello all, new β€œkid” on the block here. 55 yo norwegian 2 weeks+ into keto and 16:8. Struggling with fatigue and brainfog most of my adult life. Finally found out why I hope, at least I’m a typical T2. Some weighloss already and some candida sympthoms gone so far. Have huge faith in this concept and super motivated.

Hi, Harald! Welcome. We have another chap from Norway, too. Paging @Taka.

Hope you have a pleasant stay, and beware of @dlc96_darren, he’s mean.

Jk. He’s not this at all.

Hi @Tarzan welcome! Keto has been a game changer for me and the hubby, we have both lost 30 pounds in a little over 3 months. Welcome to the keto club!

Velkommen Harald!

Yeah, I’m from Norway too, but a couple decades younger. And doing this because t2 is scary, and I don’t want to get any closer to it. My doctor was never concerned, but that hardly means anything when I was relying too heavily on carbs.

Thanks all for nice welcome. :slightly_smiling_face: I think this is the holy grail for me. I went metal detecting today for 4 hours in steap fields and took a few hours in my bakery afterwards without feeling exhausted and crappy. Usually I could’nt last longer than a couple of hours in the fields before my body and leg muscles were β€œrotten”. Next day would be a struggle at work. Something is definately changing after 30 years of fumbling in the dark on my own and with useless doctors. Thank God I found out this with the help of Google and YouTube.

I see some temptation in your future possibly. You are through the worst part and not fully into the great part of keto, stay strong. It keeps getting better.
