I mix it with mayo and a tablespoon or two of the Mt. Olive No Sugar Added Pickle Relish for 1,000 Island Dressing for my Reuben sandwiches!
Heinz Tomato Ketchup No Added Sugar and Salt fibre content
When someone on Reddit posted a copycat Big Mac sauce recipe (which I always though was just 1000 island dressing), I was shocked it had no ketchup in it:
- 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons no sugar added dill pickle relish
- 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar (or white vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
I often do a salad dressing of just a spicy yellow mustard and horseradish sauce and spices.
I also have the Heinz No Sugar Ketchup, but don’t use it much. I actually found I really like Rao’s Marinara Sauce for anything needing sauce. (lasagna, burgers, etc.) It’s only 4 carbs per 1’2 cup. I usually use 1/8 on a hamburger with Mozzarella and butter fried Mushrooms.
I also do this as well. … And I’m actually getting ready to make some more deviled eggs, which I keep around all the time! But I’ve been wanting to try some with horseradish as well. Never tried it yet.
Something else I buy by the case. However, I use the Rao’s arrabiata sauce when I make a chili or want a spicier tomato sauce.

That’s interesting, but I believe the pink color comes from the tomatoes. I’d suggest that you start with a base of the ketchup, mayo and relish then see if you feel like you need to build depth in the flavor and be sure to do it ahead of time and let it get cozy in the fridge for a few hours first. I find that it’s pretty damn good with just those three ingredients, but everyones tastes differ, and I’m kind of a minimalist (read that as lazy! ) sometimes.
That’s weird, I got the same thing more or less also labeled 75% less sugar but the numbers don’t match up.
Cool. I will have to check the arrabiata too. I think I did see it, but they actually carry the Marinara at the store near me, so don’t have to order on-line.
… I actually just made some more deviled eggs and decided to experiment.
10 eggs (makes 20)
3 tsp. Dijon Mustard
6 tsp. Keo Mayonaise
2 tsp. Horseradish
1tsp. Dill pickle juice
Since I’m actually fasting presently, I guess I will get to try one, maybe Friday/Saturday? If not, my son can tell me what he thinks. He’s now doing Keto, but not fasting. 2 meals a day presently.
