HDL & Triglycerides

Hi everyone
Been keto for 3 months before that Low Carb for 9months, found myself in Ketosis so had to start reading up about it.
Sent my T2D into remission, my health has changed dramatically so really happy
Lipids done in March showed a good reduction of TGs (1.0 mmol ) and HDL up (2.6 mmol)
New Drs, new screening and had a shock; TGs up (1.5 mmol) HDL down (2.2 mmol)

Husband same:
TGs down 1.2 mmol now up 2.5 mmol
HDL up 1.4 mmol now down to 1.4 mmol
He’s had an A-Fib attck last month and ended up in A & E
we both have inflammation of the gums as Dentist work can’t take place until 30th April

is this rise diet related or inflammation or something else
Our carbs are between 25-30g
Protein is about 70-80g
fats as much as possible usually around 100g plus
any ideas would be appreciated from your wealth of experience

Like blood sugar cholesterol levels are in constant flux depending on what you have eaten and what you are doing. Don’t stress about it. Expecting your levels to be the same from one minute/hour/day to the next is not the right way of looking at it. Your Trig/HDL ratio is very good in both cases.

Thanks mark stressed about it because drs put red stars against them! I think they are pretty good but he doesn’t. He doesn’t understand Lchf except it’s dangerous, so I’m not really stressing just trying to understand so I can explain it to him. I’m hoping I can get him on side so I suppose a down trend is not what I wanted from that aspect.

Unfortunately ignorant doctors are something we have to put up with…
