Have a couple questions

Started me to May 5th? I have lost around 5 lbs but my muscle gain is tremendous compared to anything. December 31 2017 I as 196 lbs today I am 158.6 I’m 22 years old and 5’8 my question pertaining to Keto is if I eat under 20g carbs + 56% fat 44% protein I currently use whey protein by Body Fortress Super Advanced does anyone know if that could be the reason I’m not achieving fat loss (24.51 BMI) and muscle gain like should? Any tips? Thanks and GOD bless

I’m confused. What do you mean your muscle gain is tremendous? Then you say you neither lose fat nor gain muscle like you should?

I’m confused too about the muscle gain. Maybe you meant terrible? With a ketogenic way of eating, for the first 6-8 weeks just focus on keto eating. Don’t exercise too much for now because your ability will be less until you are fat adapted. You’ll have to start lifting smaller amounts and work back up again too. Drink less of the whey, lower protein, up fat.

I’ve put your daily estimates needed below. The carbs are a firm limit. You can afford to go a bit higher on protein on days you exercise and eat fat to give you energy and make you feel full. You don’t have to eat all of it but try to eat more fat than protein. Your calories are not a limit either. It’s better to hit them and go over than always being under but, don’t force feed yourself if you truly aren’t hungry. Make yourself some ketoaide for electrolytes.
