Hello! My husband and I have been doing keto since just after Thanksgiving last year. We are doing great with the adjustment, and I’m already down 30 pounds! We’ve had a lot of fun trying the replacement recipes we have found. I know there are a lot of amazing ice cream recipes available, but I’ve been dying to try Halo Top. I know a lot of people out there eat it on keto, but I really don’t understand why it’s considered keto friendly. The thing that throws me off is the cane sugar on the ingredient list. Could someone help me out with this? It’s been puzzling me for weeks now. Is it just the small amount of it in the ice cream that it’s okay to overlook it? This question is haunting me! Probably because my Walmart has the frozen veggies on the same isle as the ice cream! Lol.

I would much rather make my own. It’s really easy. I also haven’t seen a halo top yet with bourbon on the ingredient list

In a small amount, this shouldn’t be an issue. By small amount, I would say half a serving.

I eat it (probably too big of a serving) it’s delicious and does not kick me out of ketosis, BUT I definitely experience tummy troubles.

I’ve eaten whole container’s before and still been in ketosis… but it just felt wrong.

Thanks everyone! I’m probably just going to make some one day when my life settles down. But it’s nice to know the option is out there.
