Had a DXA BCA done today...got questions

I had a DXA Body Composition Analysis done today and 'am hoping to repeat the scan in 12 month intervals… I’m a numbers nerd and wanted something quantifiable to refer to before I get too far along on my keto journey. The numbers were of course high, but not quite as bad as I was expecting.

So, does anyone know if there’s a table or chart I can go (online?) to compare my numbers with anonymized data from other’s scans or a place where I can see “normal” ranges of the data based on age, sex, race, etc?

My family doctor has always said things like “you’re big boned” and “you’re a heavy-set guy” based on my wrist circumference, shoulder width, etc, but I want to know in absolute terms what really is “big boned” compared to what might be “normal boned”.

Oh, the NSV, was that the BCA results said that my scales are reading a few pounds too high.

Thanks in advance!

I’m not sure of your location but there is a uk company which has published some of its clients data (aggregate anonymous data).

Typical things to compare are bf%, fat mass index, lean mass index and visceral fat

Thank you so much! That’s exactly the kind of data I was looking for.
