Grocery scale

ok technically it’s a scale victory but it was more psychological. I overcame my fear of the grocery store scale. Fully clothed with wallet, keys, and cell phone in pocket I stepped onto the scale and it didn’t spin around 5 times. actually it barely exceeded so it was almost a victory because I haven’t been able to get my weight at the grocery store in many years. and if I had put down the wallet, keys, cell phone I likely would have been in-line (definitely if I dropped the shoes)

This is funny. i thought that you would talk about a victory in the grocery store that you haven’t been spending the money that you may have because of the keto diet!! That is what is happening to me. I have been saving money on groceries since the keto lifestyle. No Kidding.
I buy a lot less food and the food I do buy is basic, healthy and low cost. I buy bones for my bone broth, eggs, butter, and heavy cream for my coffee. I am starting to bore my family with my lack of variety in my diet!
But with how much better I feel, they are happy for me.

yeah, i considered that it might sound that way. and I too am spending less money (especially when fasting). I need to find a good butcher source. I suppose Publix (grocery store) butcher might accommodate but it’s not the same as a real butcher.

Where do grocery stores have people scales in them? That’s a new one to me!

Kudos on your victory!

I still can’t do that  Good for you feeling light and breezy!

All Publix stores do (southeastern US) but I’ve seen it at others. The scale is usually near the entrance/exit. Probably usually the exit because you’d probably rather not have people weighing themselves before they make their purchases
