Does anyone know if we can eat this type of noodles??

Cronometer.com says 1.76 ounces has 21 carbs so if your goal is ketosis, this noodle isn’t going to help you much. Shiritaki noodles and zucchini noodles (not really noodles but can serve a noodly purpose) both run about 3 carbs per 4 ounce serving. I personally do not like Shiritaki noodles but zucchini noodles go well with a bolognese sauce or even satueed in some garlic and bacon grease.

Lately I’ve really been enjoying Explore Cuisine’s organic edamame & mung bean fettucini, only 6g net carbs per serving! And it’s my favorite keto noodle - I like them even better than the new palmini noodles made from hearts of palm.

A bit pricier than the organic wheat pasta I used to buy years ago BUT being that I eat less of pasta and other sides due to my protein /fat commitment, I think the price evens out. It used to be that I could eat half a package of fettucine in one huge bowl - but now with LCHF/keto protein and fat, I can’t possibly do that :joy:

Bottoms line for me is Foodie JOY - though I’m skilled at making vegetable noodles etc, it’s simply fun to have a truly ‘al dente’ Italian or Thai meal experience that marries with the sauce or condiments perfectly. Esp for my Italian nights w/ wine - I like an authentic pasta texture. I also want to make my own egg noodles too - there’s a fab, easy recipe in The Keto Diet cookbook for them involving baking a simple blend of egg, cream cheese, and salt - then slicing the dry baked sheet into noodles!

Personally I no longer search for substitute pasta, I find that thinly sliced runner beans or buttered cabbage does the job!

There is this as well; I learned about it on Friday from @Shortstuff Allie, when she posted about having it in a meal. I have ordered it from Amazon so haven’t tried it yet.
