Grass fed beef and fat

Very excited. My wife and I just ordered a 1/4 cow grass-fed from a local rancher. Not a huge savings over what we buy in the store (about $7.50 a lb with butcher fees) and I asked if we could get the leaf fat and some other fat, plus some dog bones (I have 2 dogs). They are even going to separate the leaf fat from the regular fat. Can’t wait to have some of this beef and render down the fat to tallow and fry up some chicken wings!

This is at the top of my to-do list! I wish I had enough land to support my own little herd!
