Hey guys, felt like sharing this NSV with everyone. I was able to get a co-worker and, well, mainly his wife to jump on the keto train. What made this even better was his wife is a nurse and thought I was nuts! She thought I was going to have a heart attack when he told her what I was eating to lose weight and thus she wouldn’t let him eat that way either. She thought my cholesterol would be terrible and I would “clog my arteries”.
It was pretty easy convincing him it was a great option, the only option to really lose weight. He saw the results I had over the last several months. But he kept telling me that every time he mentioned it to his wife, she shot him down. I gave him some good arguments, and sent him some info and studies, etc.
Well, he informed me yesterday that they both started keto on January 1st. He had his last Coke, just before the stroke of midnight. I’ve seen him drink 3 or 4 20oz regular Cokes every day, so this is HUGE for him. He isn’t much of a forum person, but who knows, he may join up here. But either way, I was proud to have helped them out in a positive way by just being an example. I never pressed the issue or anything, I just answered questions if he asked and basically let the results speak for themselves!
