Has anyone reached their goal weight without fasting?

Yes I’ve reached my goal weight. In the beginning 8 months ago, I was doing Intermittent Fasting on my work days. I did 3 day fasts. For the last 6 months I’ve skipped meals here and there but followed the basic keto HFLC way of eating. Fasting is a tool in our way of eating tool box but not the only. Fasting is like adding fuel to weight loss and upping your metabolic rate. I haven’t fasted for several months and my weight came off.
The tortoise won the race over the hare. Tracking your food is a must! Consistently follow the proven path of our way of eating and you will get results. Fast if you desire to or don’t. Each individual is different. Keep calm and keto on.

I do EF. I have fasted 61 of the last 180 days. full No calorie fast. and when I say days, I mean full 24 hour days. I don’t even count the first 6 hours of a fast, since I am still getting nutrients from the last meal. as short as 36 hours, as long as 8 days. Mixing it up - Megan Ramos would be proud.

My wife does not fast. For the last 7 months, her weight loss rate is slightly higher than mine. like 5 pounds total over 7 months.

In my defense, I have lost waaaay more inches than she has. Or at least I want to believe that :joy:
