I just bought a glucose monitor and want to know what optimal levels should be lol I know nothing about glucose readings

Welcome to the forum. Please find attached a link to the UK diabetes site, which gives you the ranges across the various groups. Also found and American site so have included too.

What made you purchase a glucose monitor? Has your doctor recommended you track your BG? Which country are you based in? Any queries please feel free to ask. Ali

My mom was concerned that Might have diabetes and has been hounding me to get a glucose moniter for awhile. I thought it would be good to track my glucose levels along side Keto diet and to see if I do have diabetes. I got 77 mg/dl and haven’t eaten yet today , only coffee from Starbucks with heavy cream , woke up at about 7am and had coffee at about 9am, checked at about 1pm so I guess that is good. I would like to know more on how glucose readings and ketosis are connected.
