Glorious Success!

I am on week three of my new lifestyle and I cant believe these results. I’ve gone from 256 down to 236 in 16 days which is mind blowing, especially since I am a female. I usually never stick to something even when I do see results because I always self sabotage. Food was a constant crutch I used to soothe my emotions. I recently went to my doctor and my blood test results came back normal which made me teary…I was so worried that the way I was eating before would have made me a diabetic, as I’ve been pre-diabetic ever since I was a child.

For anyone who reads this and is wondering if they can or should do it just dive right in!! This way of eating has changed my relationship with food. I no longer live to eat, I eat to live! This forum has been a god send for me. Your body will heal itself, and you will feel the best you’ll ever feel. If little ole me can do it so can you!!! KCKO all and thank you for all the support I’ve found here. This is only just the beginning of my journey.

Wow, Amanda, your post is the first thing I’ve read today, and it made me teary too - it’s so good. :slightly_smiling_face: I was going to jokingly ask why you are so negative, but can’t bring myself to do it.

Yes - enjoy it. Plenty of time for introspection and mental/emotional growth and healing as well - and you’re already doing that too. Somewhere out there, some patience will be required, and I figure you can handle that too.

Cheers!
