Don’t forget you can always put a high-fat sauce on it! I’m sure that with some bacon fat, heavy cream, and shredded cheddar you could come up with something tasty!
(Although almond flour doesn’t seem to be a very good thickener, unlike wheat flour, or corn starch, alas!)
Hi all, new to the forum, but I am in a similar situation. Two weeks in on keto and gaining weight. Only 2 kg at this stage, but I was wondering if it was normal, as no one talks about initial weight gain. Richard has been very generous with his time explaining to me that it is not at all unusual and can take some weeks to become fat adapted, and until then I may gain weight. It is reassuring to hear of others having the same experience. I am only in low level ketosis - 0.5 mmol on blood test - so probably not fully fat adapted. Loving everyones support and comments. I got an Instant Pot for Christmas and made Half and Half yogurt. It’s creamy and delicious. Apparently, time is what determines how tart the yogurt will be (more time = more tart).
