Gaining but losing

The past month I have gained 2-3 pounds. I had been chalking this up to water weight but the scale just wasn’t coming down. After over a month of being stalled, I took my measurements. And the results are in…Down three inches overall!!! Building lean body mass rocks!

I started doing weights…and noticed the same thing. Sort of stalled a little…but my clothes keep getting loose. So my goal is actually to gain about 20 pounds of muscle as I lose weight. My weight is a really a roller coaster. Gain 1 or 2. Lose 1/2 or less. Then like 1 or 2 down and then 1 up. Overall down - -but sometimes stepping on the scale is a bad thing!!! :grin:

Actually Drew - the scale is a fantastic device. It is unanimously agreed upon that the scale is an invaluable device - but there is a preparatory step - you have to weigh your car with it first. If the scale gives a good reading on the rear wheels, then try the front wheels. take several readings.
Then it really comes in handy. :grin:
