What has been your experience with fruit tea? My instincts suggest it would trigger a insulin response.

I like the Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice tea. Sort of a caffeine free chai mix. I brew it very strong and add heavy cream for a chai latte effect. It’s naturally sweet tasting (just from the spice blend) but I usually add some sugar free sweetener.
I also like spearmint or the Bigelow brand Mint Medley, both are naturally sweet enough tasting that I don’t need additional sweetener. Camomile and mint are really good together (the camomile adds a sort of floral note). I like adding a curl of orange peel if there is some in the house, which also adds some sugar free “sweetness”.
I like some lemon peel and/or juice brewed with hot water for a lemon tea, I may or may not add in a coin of fresh ginger (with or without sweetener, depending on the day).
None of these seem to trigger hunger in me. Actually, they seem to do just the opposite.
Excited to see what others might suggest. Always open to new ideas. I like some variety!
My favorites are rooibos, mint and barley tea. Barley tea is an asian thing that I get off amazon, I don’t think it has any carbs, despite being made from roasted barley.
Mint and Barley are also great cold, which is nice.
Rooibos is awesome with cream.
I drink a lot of teas and infusions. Green, black, Pu erh before 2 pm and fruit and/or hebal teas/infusions up until late evening. All pure teas are keto friendly but some of the fruity-flavoured green, black and white teas have added maltodextrin or stevia. Especially, fruit teas are prone to added sweeteners. In one of my regular food stores, I was shocked to find that 70% of the fruit teas had maltodextrin in them. So carefully read the ingredients label.
