What did you think ? I tried another kind Fatsnax and wasn’t impressed at all .

(Chelsea Barnett) #3

It’s amazing!!! No after taste. Just pure goodness. Very moist. Honestly I’m going to buy some when I get paid again. They are good. I wouldn’t share with y’all if they weren’t good :yum:

22 carbs…

(Chelsea Barnett) #5

Read the second pic. It explains it. They have to legally label the allulose as sugars. But they explain it on their label in the pic I posted.

(Chelsea Barnett) #6

Only 4 net carbs

As the man said, TINSTAAFL, nothing about cookies in there. Sent off for one myself :cookie:

Edit: This will be my first exposure to allulose, so we’ll see if I grow a new head. :joy:

So I’ve just read that Allulose is 70% as sweet as sugar and has the same chemical formula as fructose. But it isn’t metabolized by the body and in a few sample sized animal and human studies, allulose has been found to lower blood sugar levels,… sounds too good to be true. I’m highly suspicious of all artificial sweeteners but I would try a nibble if someone broke me off a piece. Peanut butter cookies were my kryptonite.

It is also the sweetener of choice for keto ice cream, because when frozen the ice cream doesn’t turn to concrete. FTW!

(Chelsea Barnett) #10

It’s worth a try. Get your Free sample and just try a small piece lol :joy: it tastes too good to be keto honestly.

(Chelsea Barnett) #11

Haha my first time trying allulose too. Bout to check my insulin to see if it really doesn’t effect that. I’ll let y’all know:)

(Carl Keller) #12

FINE!.. I just ordered one, but I’m doing it for the sake of science! Plus it has flax and chia seed in it. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Candy Lind) #13

Thanks! I ordered one. The chocolate chips and syrup are intriguing, too.

(Carl Keller) #14

Ummm is that good thing or bad thing? I’m so used to, I mean I was so used to bending a spoon to get at my favorite ice cream. :snowman_with_snow:

(Chelsea Barnett) #15

Okay y’all so I checked my insulin and it’s only 91. This was an hour after eating it. But I also broke my fast 2 hours ago with porkchops and broccoli and cheese. So I guess it’s not totally accurate. But I’ll take that:) ketones went up too. 3.4 on my ketone level

(Carl Keller) #16

Sorry but I don’t speak insulin well. What exactly does that mean?

(Chelsea Barnett) #17

Blood sugar.

(Carl Keller) #18

Yes but is 91 high or low? what should it be ideally?

(Chelsea Barnett) #19

My blood sugar did not spike like it does with other artificial sweeteners or with sugar

(Chelsea Barnett) #20

Ideally under 100
