Gotcha, TY.

From my understanding. Someone please correct me if I’m giving false info?? I just got my glucose moniter last week so I’m new to this. But I found out my sugar free energy drinks were spikin me to 129. So I quit those. This didn’t spike it like that.

(Carl Keller) #23

I know Rockstar zero carb has sucralose in it. And I remember reading that some aftificial, zero cal sweetners can still spike blood sugar levels in some people. I used to drink them 2-3 times a week but quit when I started keto after researching energy drink effects. Honestly though, I have more energy on keto than I did with Rockstar.

(Chelsea Barnett) #24

Yes. They will spike insulin for some people. I’m glad I quit them and switched to black coffee :joy:

#25

Thanks, just ordered but I don’t know if I can wait 4-6 weeks for a cookie!

(Carl Keller) #26

Don’t know how you feel about coconut oil, but a tablespoon in my coffee gets me reved up pretty good. It’s fast, easy and cheaper than Rockstar.

(Madge Boldt) #27

Thanks! I ordered one. I love freebies. Especially cookie freebies.

(Chelsea Barnett) #28

Mine came within 2 weeks.

(Chelsea Barnett) #29

I use mct oil. Never tried straight coconut oil. I’ll give it a try tho  thanks

Thanks!
Am so satisfied with my Lemon Creme & Choc Chip Fatsnax , along with Paleo Angel’s Power Balls (Snickerdoodle, and Orange Cranberry) - often accompanied by Red Rose Strawberry Shortcake tea & cream , that I’ll pass on the promo, but am glad it’s here for fun.

Thanks, I ordered one! I hope it takes at least 3 weeks to come in because I’m doing a month without sweeteners lol. 3 weeks left!

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #33

I believe you, honest!

Thank you for the tip! I’ve been experimenting trying to make my homemade ice cream softer and happen to have some allulose on hand.

(John) #35

Signed up. Depending on delivery timing, it can be a Thanksgiving or Christmas indulgence.

(Running from stupidity) #36

I’m doing a fortnight without them, and my wife decided today was the day she needed to make some new peanut butter/raspberry fat bombs.

I’ll report back in a week as to what they’re like…

(Candy Lind) #37

I can’t recall who it is, but someone has several ice cream recipes using allulose in the food subforum.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #38

Rebel Creamery uses erythritol and monkfruit.

19.99 for 8 count 2 oz (16 oz total) Ouch! :scream:

(less is more, more or less) #40

I count total carbs, so this cookie is a total non-starter.

I’m reminded how easy it is to backslide to carbland when shifting from total to net carbs.
