For the diabetics among you

I’ve just got home from a week’s holiday. Didn’t go mad - stayed keto - but of course routine was different. Normally I skip breakfast, but the past 3 days we’ve been in a B&B, so of course filling up on the cooked breaky and skipping lunch instead.

Last night we went for an Indian (no bread, no rice, drank fizzy water) - BG this morning 6.1. That’s not great (for me) but not disastrous either.

Good cooked breaky of sausage, BACON, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, 1/2 tomato, with black coffee.

Lunch = cup of coffee with cream

Dinner (back home) - shepherd’s pie with cauli mash, broccolo and green beans, followed by a couple of (big) strawberries, a few raspberries and some cream.

I forgot to test before dinner, but tested at 1 hour (6.6) - and then 2 hours - 5.8. Pretty darn happy with that!!
