I’m not all that optimistic just yet. For one thing, the paper’s other articles, linked to at the end of this one, are all promoting a HCLF diet, with explicit recommendations against eating red meat. Long way to go before they catch up with the science, in my view.

@PaulL I agree but a curve in the road is small steps toward advice to the better. I don’t belive the system will change overnight. Baby steps are still progress perhaps.

So, when they say you will see a dramatic rise in blood sugar, how many points would be considered a dramatic rise. Mine went from 81 to 107, would this count?
