For Brenda: Carconut!

(Jacquelyn Graham) #21

Ordered some, that’s one of the things I love the most about this forums is it gives me access to all sorts of things I knew nothing about.

@bee is that like a cocoon with a car? Lol

(Beth) #23

@Brenda, that is exactly it! Any commuter or any parent who spends any amount of time in the car waiting for kids knows what I’m talking about!

So, I came up with a basic recipe today… I call it “Manna Tea”

Sort of a bulletproof tea, but you use manna and other fats!

I love coconut and can’t believe I haven’t tried this stuff yet. This might replace my nightly spoonful of PB. Just ordered to be here Friday

Oh, the hu-manna tea!

Although I do order the coconut manna by Nutiva (3 jars at a time).

I use it mostly to make chocolate fat bombs:
140 grams coconut oil
140 grams coconut manna
50 grams nut butter

Microwave slightly until mixable, then add in 1/4 cup or more cocoa powder.

Divide between 24 silicion mini-muffin molds.

Sometimes I’ll add some chopped nuts, or a teaspoon of all natural peanut butter to each mold.

I use it for coconut fat bombs too. Beware to those unfamiliar. It will harden up in the jar and the coconut oil within will create a layer on top if it gets too cold. You then have to warm it up and stir it back together.
