Fitness improved

According to MapMyWalk app, exactly 1 year ago I walked 1 mile in 35 minutes. It was fairly flat terrain. At the end, my heels hurt, my left knee was quite painful, and my low back ached. I was depressed that I’d gone from a fit younger person to a nearly 60 year old woman who was so out of shape that walking 1 mile kicked my butt.

I started Keto on 2/1/18. I turned 60 on 11/15/2018.

This morning before work, I walked 1.7 miles in hilly terrain in 29 minutes. No heel pain, minimal discomfort in my left knee, and my back is just fine. In fact, I’m planning on another couple of miles after work today. What a good reminder to myself to journal a couple quick notes about any workout, so I can look back later! So easy for me to now see how my inflammation has decreased.
