I stumbled onto this forum and need all help available.
I lost 140 pounds from 400 to 260 in last 20 years doing ala carte low carb. I still have 100 to go.
The good news is I didnt gain back.
Ive got multiple health issues, I know blah blah blah and am addicted to carbs.
One is too many and a thousand is never enough - ok I stay at 20.
Im doing better, Dec. 31, 2018 is my keto sober date. My fasting sugar is down from 280-300 to 80-100 the last couple of weeks.
I feel better. Trying to walk a bit. Anyway…

That’s some really good news. I would start off slow by reading various threads on the forum, search for specific questions you may have, to see if they’ve already been asked and answered.

My good friend @juice wrote up a simple guide for people just starting out, but you already know about the 20g of carbs. Great!

Hi Jilly and welcome to the forum. First thing I gotta say is DAMN, I am so jealous of your blood sugar drop! I’m not even a diabetic but pre diabetic from a steroid drug I have to take for life. In 5 months I have been able to get my fasting BG from 203 down to 130-140 but you’re in a healthy range after a few weeks!
