First meal out on low carb

My friends want to take me out for my birthday, what should I get?

Has anyone ever tried low carb cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory? I have made low carb cheesecake at home for DH in past, but didn’t really like it myself.

It’s not bad, taste-wise, but I don’t know that it’s really low carb. Just lower carb, since it’s sweetened with Splenda.

Given that you’re still early in in keto, I’d skip the cheesecake.

If you’re going to eat out, try to stick with bunless burgers or steak/seafood. If the entree had a sauce, be sure to ask about any sugar or thickener added. Tell them you’re allergic to sugar and flour/starch.

I had the brunch chicken fajitas, no rice, no tortilla and no potatoes. They gave me letttuce wraps and broccolini instead of those. Their guacamole is amazing.

Nice! Good job.

And no cheesecake, Frank thinks the one I make is better and really low carb, so I will try that instead. I had a couple small bites of the 2 desserts friends got but overall way less crap than in the past. And so satisfied.
