I am doing my first extended fast! I am on day 3 (started Sunday, last meal finished at 5:40pm). I plan to go until Friday, 5:40pm. I have had only water (sparkling too) and black coffee. I took some salt and magnesium pills yesterday.
I have the worst headache today though. I feel fine otherwise, I guess. A little strange/different but not bad.
When I started, I was exactly 10 pounds “overweight” (according to the BMI chart) and I have lost 5 pounds since fasting! Yay! At this rate, Friday I should be 3 pounds away from being “normal” LOL
How much do you think will stay off when I re-feed Friday evening? I think I’ll be going pretty close to zero carb Friday evening, and back to under 20 the following days.

I’m not sure I’m going to do this again - having to keep feeding my kids (and husband) makes this slightly torturous…question - when you eat after fasting, are you staying strict keto or zero carb? I’m hoping that makes a difference and I get to keep most of the weight off. Probably just wishful thinking though.
