I celebrated my five-month Ketoversary on December 13. When I started on July 13, 2018, I was at 225 pounds, with a goal to get to around 180. By October 1, I was down to around 190. And I just hung there, bouncing between 190-192 for over two months. Finally, on December 10, I broke through and hit 188. This morning, 185! So I’m hoping that the stall is over!
I’ve been doing generally 16/8 IF, and playing ice hockey 2-3 times a week throughout. And, even when the scale wasn’t moving, I could feel the keto improvement in my stamina. Especially when playing goalie for my hockey team: Pre-keto, by the end of the first period, I was dead tired and winded. Now, I can play a full game and think “You know, I could go out and play another one right now”.
