Finally made it to 24,000 Miles

(Tom Seest) #1

Celebrating 24,000 miles in 6.75 years…It took a while for the last 400 Miles…

For those that don’t know my story, I dieted my way with straight low carb down to 450 pounds from somewhere north of 550. I had heart problems as a complication from pneumonia last December. This progressed to Congestive Heart Failure in September. I’ve been rolling back the damage from the pneumonia and heart failure with fasting and the Ketogenic Diet and a beta blocker medication.

Wow, I hadn’t seen your story but reading through the biking threads I have seen you mentioned endlessly. I am excited to begin biking again and your posts are very inspirational for that. As a nerd did you know that you have ridden a round trip to Mordor almost 7 times? Keep up the great work and inspiration.

I’m hoping to complete 25,000 Miles this year which would mean that I circled the globe…
