Wasn’t sure if I should post on this thread or in the Fast thread, but I think this is an NSV! I have been keto for over 2 months or so and have been able to do IF the last month or so, but never more than 18/6. Monday I completed my first 24 hours fast (not even planned) and it was like that magic “Ah ha!” moment where I knew I was finally fat adapted. I wasn’t really hungry at all. It was more mental and when my mind would say “hmm…its 11am, we should eat breakfast!” I went to the kitchen and made a big cup of coffee with WC and was good. Then had about 4oz of Chicken bone broth when I’d typically have a handful of nuts and kept trucking! 24 hours felt great. My body felt good and I didn’t feel deprived or beholden to food! Hoping to keep with a single 24 hour fast per week to keep the momentum. Had to share! Thanks for this forum and everyone in it for tips and information to get us all through!
