As long as you keep getting back on - you’re going in the right direction!

Keep getting back on, and it works better with longer runs of full compliance.

Dont fell bad. I was able to get into ketosis during the week of spring beak, but as soon as Monday came, I had exams, and well. I got these crazy cravings for sweets and I fell off. I havent been able to get back on since then. I have went up 5-8 lbs cause i have been eating pizza 2 to 3 times a week for the last three weeks, but I am done with that! back to the hustle again. Any tips on how to deal with the cravings? I am sure that other newbies like myself would not mind the help. Thanks

fasting helps kick you back into ketosis quicker and the quicker you get back in the quicker the cravings drop. my advice would be stay away from fake sugar for the first week and if you are craving make something naturally sweet like blueberries or strawberries with heavy cream (the more natural the cream the better). Also have big meals to fill you up and drink water when you are craving (you can put lemon, lime, mint etc if you find water boring)

also I find the salt sole helps when I’m low in energy or craving

Thanks for the reply. Idk if this was the right place to place my question but I am glad that you answered. Would you recommend something else besides strawberries? I am in engineering school, and strawberries are a bit too expensive for me. I usually eat, eggs, sour cream, butter, cheese, cabbage, bacon, chicken, pork, olive oil, and i take some fiber supplements to help with the you know… bathroom issues lol

frozen berries? they tend to be cheaper. Or you could get some coco powder with no sugar added and mix that with the cream

peanut butter can help a little

i never actually thought about the frozen berries, or the coco powder. I will get some tomorrow. Also, do you think that meal preppin might be a good thing to incorporate?

up to you, do you struggle to make meals when you’re hungry?
