So I’ve finished three complete weeks on Keto and have been generally feeling pretty good. I lost 20 pounds in the first two weeks but leveled off in week 3. Now my weight fluctuates about 3 pounds, but still not trending back up.
Today I felt really weak about half way through the day and I haven’t fully recovered from it. At one point at the work bench, I broke out into a sweat for a few minutes, and I work in an air conditioned garage.
I ate a salad and some pork chops for my first meal at noon. I laid down for about 30 minutes and fell asleep deep enough to have a hard muscle twitch and wake up with my heart racing. It passed, for the most part, but I’ve felt lethargic since then. I wasn’t really hungry but I ate about 6 slices of mortadella bologna and two slices of swiss cheese for my evening meal. I felt stuffed and bloated, actually.
I don’t know if my body is going through some transitional phase or what, or maybe I just didn’t eat right today. I left my MCT oil out of my coffee as well as my salad today and I didn’t eat my avocados. I was in a rush today and just ate the leafy greens and protein.
Maybe I need to fry a couple of eggs tomorrow and eat some spinach and kale. I ran out of nuts a while ago and haven’t replenished my supply.
