Feast, then 24 hour fast

Fasting: my goal is not to lose weight, but to increase my GKI.
I’ve always been cognizant of my nutrition and have tracked. So, applying this new way of eating wasn’t too hard. I’m 25 days into keto implementation. I’ve been testing blood ketones and glucose daily. Sometimes multiple times throughout the day while fasting. I’ll share this information when I have more data. But, I digress; the real reason for posting this was to share that I am doing my first 24hr fast. So, I feasted beforehand. Below is what I decided to have at 7am:
• 4 whole eggs
o .5 tbl butter
o 15g crème fraiche
• 4 pieces of bacon
• 4oz of smoked salmon
o 13g crème fraiche
• 100g avocado
• 1oz gouda
• 1oz sharp cheddar
• 30ml heavy cream
o Coffee
 Total caloric intake: 1244
100g fat72g protein – 14g carb – 7g fiber – 7g net carb
Initial thoughts, half way through salmon and cheese it was too rich. Don’t worry, I’ll test this theory out again… for SCIENCE!
At first, I was afraid at attempting this, but looking back at my eating habits during keto, I’ve been pushing my meals out further and further because I’m not hungry. I’m eating purely because I think I need to (not trying to lose more weight), and, well it tastes fantastic.
