Fatbomb eats fatbombs

(Milena) #1

Hi everyone.
I am currently a fatbomb (50% of fat) eating fatbombs to lower my fat level. LOL, I never thought that’s a sentence I’d write, ever.
When I first heard about keto, I was like, what the hell are they talking about? I need to eat more fat in order to lose fat, are they mental? I am so glad I came to my senses after years of trying to lose weight by starving myself for a few days and then binging on junk food.
I’m 23 years old and I have been struggling with weight almost my entire life. This is the first time I am confident I will stick to the diet and actually lose weight.
Since I started keto, I notice that I have more energy and much to my surprise, I don’t crave for carbs as much as I thought I would.
I am here to learn and because I really need to be around more keto people, because I can’t stand listening to people telling me it’s unhealthy to live without carbs. I’ve been living on carbs for almost my entire life and look where it got me.

I am only two weeks in, but I think it really is! It’s not just about the weight, keto makes me feel full of energy and less lazy so it reflects on other areas of my life. Thank you

Thank you! I used to worry about my dad because he doesn’t eat much, sometimes once or twice a day and when he does, he prefers fatty foods. Now I’m grateful he didn’t pay much attention to what I was saying.

So you’re the reason I had to add 9 to my nickname  Nice to meet you and thanks for the welcome

As long as he’s not eating “carbage” with the fat, he’s good. The combination of high fat and high carbs can be deadly. As you make changes, gently try to steer him away from the carbs if he’s eating them.

Ha ha ha, yes I am, lol

he isn’t, luckily! he’s the only one in the house that’s not thrilled when there’s pasta for lunch, hates french fries… sometimes he has a sandwich or eats a slice of bread for lunch… but in general, he’s a natural keto guy, that’s how he mainly eats without even knowing his eating habits have a name

Losing 15 pounds in 10 days not feeling hungry once is also not healthy, you know? I guess I should be living on bread and sugar to lose weight  will try to do that in another life, maybe

Sounds like it shouldn’t work, but yet it does. Welcome to the keto world where all your weight dreams can come true.

Welcome Milena and great job so far. Making this commitment to youself at this early age is an enviable and rare wisdom. You’re right it’s not just about the weight. Frankly IMHO the weight, ketosis etc is noise. It’s about metabolic reengineering of ourselves. I am glad you joined us, you just made the community better for it. KCKO
