Fat till satiety

I’ll paste some links for reading here, because you’ll get more information from them than me droning on, and on, and on, about it (This would cause even more stress for both you and I):

That’s on the middle to higher end of protein intake (1.65g/KG of LBM) so you shouldn’t be protein deficient. In fact you might want to experiment with less. Many people thrive on half that protein level (0.8g/KG LBM) though equally many thrive on that and even a little more. Anyway, it’s probably not relevant to your feelings of satiety but you never know.

would not your insulin stay high for longer period if you follow this approach.

Eating a fatty meal causes a long and drawn out subtle glucose response over several hours rather than a short spike from a carby meal, so hopefully the insulin response is just as small. Yeah, sure, I might further drag out the glucose response by an hour or so, but it’s still a small response and I don’t think long term that’s going to make much of a difference.

Also, I’ve worked out how to gauge what kind of meal satiates me, so I know when I’m in the ball park and can stop eating confidently knowing that I’ve had enough even though I might not feel like it at that same moment.
