Fat per day, in cups?

Your body just excretes it. It won’t store dietary fat.

Sorry to talk shit, but if you eat too much fat, do you find it gets excreted as the runs?

Personally I’ve never had that issue.

I did, during my first attempt at keto in 2015.

Also one time I drank a cup of coconut oil (because I hadn’t eaten anything all day - this was also in 2015) - I woke up few hours later with severe cramps & the runs.

Now I make sure to eat the fats slowly, say, over an hour - when I ate them quickly (at normal rate, for most people) a few times recently, I had the runs again.

I now take Ayurvedic digestive aids religiously. This combined with regulating how much fat I am ingesting within a period of time has resulted in no runs so far.

I should mention that my digestion is compromised. I most likely have leaky gut.

Coconut oil will do that to you. I sometimes get diarrhea after 2 TBSP in my coffee. If you are eating fat you will have a different reaction than drinking a cup of fat.

especially coconut oil because of the MCT!
i know ppl that have had issues with 2 teaspoons of MCT oil in their shake or coffee

coconut and MCT oils are for sure a build tolerance kind of thing

Yes, I learned that in the middle of the night😁

Pretty severe cramp to boot.
(I drank too much, & on empty stomach.)

I love coconut oil & coconut butter & coconut milk.

I just remembered, I used to drink a concoction: cinnamon powder, lemon juice, coconut oil, & hot water - during my 1st attempt at keto two years ago.
It tastes pretty good.

EDIT: forget to mention ‘salt’ - coconut oil, cinnamon powder (for weight loss effect), fresh lemon juice, SALT, & hot water.

EDIT 2: Cassia cinnamon is better than Ceylon. And Saigon is better than cassia.
