Fat people at work

So true. You have a problem, throw the magic pill at it. UGH.

One thing for me I am the type that hates all pills LOL

So I am one who ‘goes back to basics’ to change. I don’t run to a Dr. ever.

(obviously some meds are required in life but for basic things etc. I think so much med is overprescribed!)

you can’t go wrong with back to nature…and we have to go back cause that is what we are. Natural to this earth

Most people I know that are on anti depressants or anxiety meds need them and only have problems if/when they stop taking them. My brother in law took his own life because he stopped taking them and his psychosis took over and unfortunately that was the end result.

My husband has been on 2 of them since 2011, and if he wasn’t he would have ended up like his brother as well. He has been much better since taking them.

I know that some people have totally come off medications after being on Keto for a while, which is great; but these medications are very helpful and life savers for many.

Ooooo I saw this one too! Got me started to think about fasting again and now I’m 45 hours into a fast and don’t want to stop. Thinking this will be my plan starting next week, and aim for 3 weeks in a row. My kids and I took photos last year at Thanksgiving and I want to take updated ones this year, hopefully down into Onederland!

That is awesome, Susan (we have a lot of us Susan’s here on the forum, hehe). I think it is our age range, I remember when I was a child and having 3 other Susan’s in my classroom. in grade school.

You never see any little girls called Susan nowadays. Maybe one of my kids will use it as a middle name for one of my future grandkids, we shall see!

Best wishes with your fasting =). @monsterjuice and I are doing this protocol until November 30 (discussing it on my accountability thread) and you are certainly more then welcome to join us if you like --it is fun to do it with others and to encourage one another!

I find that hard to believe.

My GF told me this weekend that she is on anxiety meds and I told her it might be better if she went to counseling or did yoga instead of taking meds! I hope she listens.

Girl, show your muscles and be proud. I’m right there with you!

Susan, you’ve made a good point. People have a natural tendency to want to justify themselves no matter what, whether “right” or wrong. What you say about “fat [people] eating muffins and donuts…and salad…” then blaming being overweight on [something else besides their own choices] is what they’ve learned to do for better or for worse. It’s less painful that way.

(Susan) #196

Exactly, and they get very angry about it and you can’t tell them anything.
