Fat mimicking fast

Anyone with experience with fat fasting? I’ve been very successful with keto, IF and EF and am going to do a 5 day fat fast experiment. I’d like any input. Here is my plan.

I’ve been doing fat-only OMAD mixed around my extended fasts (not during the extended fast). I’ve been keeping the macros higher fat though by only eating egg yolks (no whites, since they have mostly protein) and further limiting carbs to gross carbs (not just net). Here is my OMAD breakfast on these days:

Interesting, so you are going with 200 more cal than me…

Actually, its more than 300 calories more than you, but with the same amount of protein. I also limited overall carbs to 4.2 rather than net carbs.

Also, how many eggs is that? 5 hard-boiled eggs will have more than 12g protein

This is really helpful. Heard a Megan Ramos talk today where she was very clear not to drop calories because it stalls metabolism. Raising the calorie in take via Chicharrón can Carne. Kind of like bacon to the fourth power.

That’s why I try to have 1200 calories on the fat OMAD days. I really struggle to get more calories in though with just one meal.
