Fasting article in The Guardian

Not a bad article overall. Skip past the stupid statement about T2s in the intro though. I do want to shout at these people though - You are missing a crucial element! Maybe we should send them @Fiorella’s diagram?

I like the fact though that we are seeing more thoughtful articles trickling through. It is not key that they get everything right all at once (who ever does anyway?) but that this info starts to permeate.

A solid 6/10 I would say!

I agree. The fact that mainstream media is reporting on it at all, even with a few errors, is definately progress in the right direction. As with many of us here I’m sure, it was just a few “seeds” of information such as that which got us thinking and began our further searching into the topics of paleo, LCHF, keto, diabetes, fasting etc.

Yes and often if you give someone the whole package it seems too much to handle anyway - too much change all at once.

They were very honest with the comment: "One reason for the paucity of studies is the lack of money to be made. With no drugs to sell, drug companies are not testing it. "
