Fasting and keto flu

Hey guys,

2 questions!

1.As far as fasting goes, if I have my delicious coffee in the AM with 1T. Butter and a dash of HWC, am I still in fasting mode? I thought I read if your calories were under so much you could still be considered in fasting!

  1. I am on my 4th day of TRUE, no cheating Keto! Finally…it has taken me 5 months to do this and get with the program​:crazy_face: I feel kinda nauseous and about an hour ago my tummy cramped so bad and I’ve had liquid :poop::poop::poop: twice now! I feel like :poop::poop: too! Is this considered “Keto flu” and typically how long can it last???

I wouldn’t worry about fasting at this point, just train your body to expect fat and protein by feeding them to it.

And yeah, carb withdrawals affect everyone differently, and sounds like you got whacked. Make sure you’re keeping up your electrolytes.

Well, yesterday I didn’t intend to fast, but I just wasn’t hungry at all when I woke up, I wasn’t this morning either! Just didn’t feel like eating much at all! I guess, I’m unclear as to if I should be making myself eat fats and protein since I’m just starting, or just don’t eat unless I’m hungry, which is never​:flushed::flushed:
