Ezekiel bread?

I eat sometimes one piece per day of the paleo brand bread. I adore it and it is my treat heaped with an enormous amount of butter. Very pricey but worth it.

I’m so glad you posted your success with Ezekiel bread. I also love it in the morning with an egg or a bit of PB. I could also do half if need be cause it’s just a few bits that I’d like to have with coffee. I don’t want to give it up. I can do the rest of my day keeping in the 20g and I know I’ll lose weight because I wont be eating any other carb like this the rest of the day.

I think your right about a slice of bread wtih my egg or almond butter in the morning is something I thoroghly enjoy, so it keeps my lifestyle sustainable and pleasant.

I’m looking forward to losing a few pounds with you all.

Just started Keto and have been an Ezekial break fan for probably 20 years now. Was happy to re-discover than Ezekial has only 12g net carbs. Thus, a slice every day or two (or even every day) is fine unless you are super strict on your dieting needs.

If you choose to use over half your total net carbs on one slice a bread a day, you may do so. Remember keto is low carb, moderate protein, and high fat… but you cannot have excessive fat or protein. Eat whatever you want to make you happy as long as it falls in line with your total macros for the day.

It is because you are only allowed about 20 total net carbs in a day. About 5% of your calories. Most people don’t want to waste over a half a days worth of carbs on one slice of bread.

After adaptation, it has little effect on lipolysis. When it was available in my small town, I’d use it for BLTs when my tomatoes were ripe. Two BLTs had little or no effect as far as Lipolysis.
