I’m keen to try the honey one in the bread that the 2kd were talking about in their podcast. I love that bread. Was stoked to hear them on about it.
I really like to use pepper, mint in the chocolate cheesecakes I make. SLURP!
Rum, almond, caramel, apple, vanilla. I use them in whipped cream, fat bombs and cream cheese based stuff.
I’ve been keto a while now and have STILL to make ice cream! Please don’t hate me!
I’ve made a few batches. Oh so good. I did mint chocolate chip (my fav) and strawberry cheesecake.
Do you have a recipe somewhere for your favourite one or did you make it up?
This is the mint chocolate chip that I made. The base (HWC, egg yolk, vanilla, and sweetener) can be used for any ice cream flavor. Feel free to adjust the sweeteners to your taste. I end up using about half cup Swerve, 1/4 cup Lakanto Golden, and 2 packets Truvia. I find the combo ends up with a good sweetness and no aftertaste.
Sound awesome. I have not had ice cream for a while. It’s something to look forward to.
People that say keto is boring
Haha! Me neither. Love it to the point that I bore EVERYONE ELSE!
WOW, i think i need to put together an order, 5 different types of banana, i can get al of the fruit flavors that i loved, without those nasty carb thingies attached. I used to make a banana based bbq sauce, haven’t figured out how to ketofy it, this gives me some great ideas.
I just ordered their liquor set and emulsion set. I’ve tried the cake type flavors from best flavors and they were very underwhelming. I hope these are better. I’d love to have a red velvet cheesecake fluff or whipped cream every now and then.
Popcorn and sweet corn extracts used to make pork rinds taste like cornbread or a corn chip – anyone done this? I found a recipe on fluffychixcook.com that recommended flavor extracts from a company called Amoretti in California. To celebrate Fathers’ Day they are offering free shipping till June 30 with coupon code DADSRULE
Are Olive Nation extracts truly Keto friendly? Even their emulsions, which are supposed to be water-based, include alcohol. Just making sure I’m not sneaking sugars in! Their flavors look so amazing.
